Theresk

Theresk is a chain of islands in far northern Allesley. It is the homeland of the Theresklys, a people who have lived there for centuries. Theresk is also known as Tareskia, an older name for the islands, and the Barbarian Lands in some old texts.

There are few permanent settlements on Theresk. Some of its people migrate for summer and winter, others throughout the year, and still overs nomadic.

Some of its regions include:

Alderfen is an open prairie in the central part of the island.

The Barkhalls are a cluster of shelters on the eastern islands.

The Feyda is an area of rock outcroppings and standing stones on a peninsula of the main island.

Gastbarrow is a mountain on the western side of the main island.

Pinehall is a wooden village on the southern coast of the main island.

Summer Moot is a valley on the eastern side of the main island. Each summer, Theresk's peoples gather here for rituals—such as coming of age, marriage, and naming—and to compete for the honor of occupying the caverns of Gastbarrow.
