Hestellend

The subcontinent of Hestellend lies in eastern Ertheskel, west of Medoruul. It includes the lands of Cosworn, Cullodh, Senthe, Trolwud, and Yrmig. Hestellend is also known as Ellendric, the Eldritch Lands, and the Realms. Humans often call it the Outlands.

The ancestral homelands of dragons, dwarves, elves, and trolls can be found in Hestellend, and that is still where most of their cultures can be found. In the past few centuries, humans have settled in northern Hestellend, which has led to many conflicts.

Hestellend is about half grassland and half forest. There are four great forests—Teandera, Trolwud, Unuar, and Wolcenwood—and countless smaller groves. There are also four mountain ranges: Alimnul, Callam Cemana, Nula Kaad, and Orut. Much of the land outside of these forests and mountains is a blend of grassland and woods, although to the south the land transitions into scrubland and desert.
